👉strike up sth  建立(關係);開始(交談)
     to start a relationship or conversation with someone

e.g. He gets really jealous if his girlfriend strikes upfriendship with another man. 
       如果他的女友和其他男性建立起友誼的話,他會很嫉妒。


👉mechanism (n.) 體制,結構方式
       a way of doing something that is planned or part of a system

e.g. The mechanism for collecting taxes needs revising.
       稅收制度需要檢討。


👉ridiculous (adj.) 愚蠢的;荒唐的;可笑的
        stupid or unreasonable and deserving to be laughed at

e.g. It's ridiculous to expect a two-year-old to be able to read!
       指望一個兩歲的孩子能閱讀真是太荒唐了!
